TireSizer updated with native iPad support

TireSizer version 3.0 has been redesigned as universal app with native iPad support!  Also includes the following:

• For metric users, now remembers the Imperial / Metric setting.

• Added Tire Width calculations.  On iPhone and iPod touch, this replaces Axle Height in the summary screen due to limited screen space.  However, on the info button’s screen, you can select the option to show either Tire Width or Axle Height.

• Corrected calculations for Proposed sizes in metric when Flotation size is on.

SermonNotes bug

SermonNotes bug notices:  
• When you create a new note, the new note will immediately show up in the Past Notes screen at the top of the list. But the oldest note at the bottom of the list becomes temporarily hidden. It is NOT deleted, it is simply not visible. To see the oldest note again, tap any of the other tabs and then tap Past Notes again. This issue is more apparent when you don’t have a full screen list of past notes. A solution to this issue has been created and will be included in the next update.

 

• On iPad, sometimes if you copy and paste in more than a screen full of text from a Bible app, when the keyboard dismisses, the screen may shift up too far and hide the controls. If this happens, make use you have Auto Rotation On in the info tab, and then rotate the screen. It may correct itself, or it may show a “Back Button” (leftover from the iPhone / iPod touch version). Tap it and the screen should shift back down. A permanent fix is being created.

Countries Visited • World Travel Log and USA Travel Log • States Visited updated

Countries Visited • World Travel Log and USA Travel Log • States Visited have both been updated to version 2.4.  The new features include:

 

• Added total number of countries/states visited to the home screen for quick at-a glance reference

• Added % of countries/states visited

• Added % and counts for other entities

Both apps will soon be updated with native iPad support for hi resolution on the iPad’s larger screen.   In the World app, the % for other entities should be approximately doubled.  This will be fixed in the next update.

SermonNotes updated with native iPad support

SermonNotes has been updated to version 3.0 as a universal app with native iPad support in addition to iPhone / iPod touch!  It now uses the much larger screen area for notes input at native iPad screen resolution.

iOS 5 bugs in SermonNotes

SermonNotes is affected by a bug for users with the new iOS 5.  This will be fixed in the next update:

  • The verse reference picker wheel that starts with Genesis is not allowing you to roll it backwards.  A solution has been created and will be included in the next update.
Updated November 17, 2011:
This issue has has fixed and the update has been published in the iTunes App Store, SermonNotes v2.2
  • In portrait orientation, if you have more than a full screen of notes, the last line is now hidden by the keyboard. This will be fixed in the next update.  A temporary solution is tap the Return key twice to scroll up the text.  You can also use landscape orientation instead.

iOS 5 bugs in Travel Log apps

Several apps are experiencing bugs for users with the new iOS 5.  These will be fixed in the next updates.

 

In various Travel Log apps:

  • The year picker wheel is starting with year 1711 instead of 2011.
  • An app crash will occur in “Add Visit” if you attempt to select a different traveler “Name”.

Updated December 9, 2011:
These issues have been fixed and the update has been published in the iTunes App Store.
